What’s with all the CAPITALIZATION and exclamation points? You ask. Well, I’m excited and when I get excited exclamation points start flying and since you can’t see me jumping on the bed, the CAPITALIZATION will have to serve as my digital trampoline. :D
Okay, so… Tomorrow my BLOG TOUR with CLP BLOG TOURS stars. To kick it off I thought I’d hold a giveaway. One commenter will win an ebook copy of the book I’m going on tour for: Children of the Gods.
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock and haven’t heard about it yet. Children of the Gods is a light Sci-fi romance for Young Adults. Here’s a quick synopsis:
For as long as seventeen-year-old Reka Cushing can remember, she has watched her friends and her neighbors be stolen, their bodies used as hosts for the Halorans; an alien race that has come to earth posing as gods. For just as long, Reka has lived in fear of drawing the eye of a Haloran, keeping her head down, hoping not to be caught in their sights.
The only time she has ever been bold, tried to get what she wanted, a god, one more powerful, more dangerous than all others is watching.
This giveaway ends at 8:00pm Alaska time Wednesday 3/21/12 (I’m in Alaska so we go by my time – which really is good for you East Coastians who are 4 hours ahead of me so it’ll be like midnight your timeish.)
All you have to do to be entered is leave a comment on this blog post by 8pm Alaska time on March 21st 2012. Be sure to leave me your email address so I can contact you if you win. The winner will be announced Thursday March 22nd here!
PS: Don’t forget – If you leave a comment on my tour page over at CLP Blog Tours http://www.clpblogtours.com/2012/02/children-of-gods-by-monica-millard.html you’ll be entered to win a $10 Amazon gift card. AND Anyone who buys Children of the Gods before April 9th 2012 and sends their receipt to Samantha (at) ChickLitPlus (dot) com, you will get five bonus entries!**

Thanks Hannah! (I have used the name Hannah in two two of the books I've written. Eventually to be published - such a great name!)
DeleteIt's amazing how many people have been dwelling under rocks lately. :P
I've been living under a rock too! Congratulations on your book and your blog tour!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! I'm going to have to check out the spaces under rocks... they must be pretty nice!
DeleteCongrats on the blog tour! Forgive my ignorance; what is a blog tour?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty new to blogging. Just started my own blog last month. I really enjoy it, so I wanted to stop by and read yours. It's great.

Thanks Eye! A blog tour is like a physical book tour, just done on the web. Several different blog sites act as stops along the tour allowing me space on their blog for the day, either posting a review, a guest post from yours truly, or questions and answers again from yours truly. And then I get to chat and connect with readers those places. :D
DeleteThanks for visiting my blog and saying hi! I've got your name on the list!
Monica, it's Bobbi. You have all of my contact info, already. You even know where I live!
ReplyDeleteI hope the blog tour is treating you like the super creative genius you are. As I keep saying, I'm so glad this is all happening! I'm starting to have exclamation point giddiness, too!!
Good night and good luck!
Thanks Bobbi! I do know where you live! :D !!! Just threw an extra few in there for good measure. :P
DeleteMonica love...cool Blog. I wanted to buy your book on Amazon but I have a nook. Does that mean I can't read it? Can you only buy it if you have a kindle. Please forgive my ignorance ;) Jennette
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennette! Glad you like the blog. I hope you like the book!
DeleteYou can purchase it on BarnesandNoble.com also or through Smashwords.com in multiple formats, I believe epub works for Nook.
Chosen the short story prequel to Children of the Gods is free on BN.com and smashwords btw
